WASHINGTON — Thomas L. Moran, 65, of Washington, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Nov. 13, 1947, in Daviess County, he was the son of Harry T. and Mary J. (Frye) Moran. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He worked in turkey processing, 15 years at Armour and 20 years at Farbest. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Moran; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Turner and Mary Ann and Rod Loveless, all of Washington; and two brothers, Dennis Moran of North Carolina and Tim Morgan of Lexington, Ky. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mike Moran; and a sister, Brenda Walters Moran. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel. Burial will be in Marco Cemetery. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
