WASHINGTON — J. Neal Killion, 93, of Washington, died at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Nursing Center. Born June 29, 1918, in Plainville, he was the son of Jessie H. and Katie M. (Hummer) Killion. A 1936 graduate of Plainville High School, he was a farmer and sales representative for Vigortone and later was field manager. He established Vita More Supplies Inc. He retired at age 84 in 2002. He was a member of Plainville United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Plainville Lions Club and organized the H and V Oil Co. in 1950. He is survived by two grandsons, Sean and Jason Killion, both of Washington; and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Chance Killion and Jerzie and Lacie McCord. His wife, Brada A. (Sims) Killion, whom he married Nov. 25, 1938, died June 27, 1990. His parents, one son, Ted Killion, and one sister, Louise Albright, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gill Chapel, with Rev. Cindy Keck officiating. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after noon Saturday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to St. Jude’s Hospital.
