Cora J. Harris
ALFORDSVILLE — Cora J. Harris, 73, died at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday at Daviess Community Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1936, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Lolan and Helen (Frazo) Hedrick.
She retired from Jofoc in Jasper and attended Alfordsville Christian Church. She was a homemaker and an avid gardner.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Gibben of Alfordsville; three sons, Richard W. Harris of Solsberry, Don and Edwin H. Harris, both of Alfordsville; three brothers, Roy Hedrick of Mitchell, Jim Hedrick of Bedford, and Lolan Hedrick Jr. of Texas; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bill, Donald and Robert Hedrick; and three sisters, Edith Traylor, Ruth Purrell and June Baugh.
The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Brocksmith Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will be in Alfordsville.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Noah “Nick” Graber, 75, went to be with the Lord at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 31, 1935, in Daviess County, he was the son of Nicholas R. and Ida (Graber) Graber.

Helen B. Williams, 102, of Washington, went home to be with the Lord at 3:18 a.m. Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Dec. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of William and Maude (Koontz) Miles.

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Roark, 67, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Ralph W. and Wanda F. (White) Roark.

Marion R. Barber, 89, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Daviess County, he was the son of Logan W. and Lorena Pearl (Arison) Barber.

Paul William Patterson, 84, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Saturday at Parkvilla LTC in Marion. Born Oct. 26, 1926, in Daviess County, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Wilson) Patterson.
