SHELBYVILLE — Bonnie Jean (Colvin) Foltz, 68, passed away Friday after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Bonnie was born May 23, 1944, to James and Mary Colvin, in Washington. She had three younger brothers, Tom, Dan and Bill. After her mother’s death in 1953, Bonnie went to live with her aunt and uncle, Clyde and Marie (Colvin) Williams, in Indianapolis and was raised with her cousins Jim and Mike Williams. Bonnie graduated from Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Beech Grove in 1962. She went on to obtain her cosmetology license and worked at LS Ayers Beauty Shoppe and Tea Room in downtown Indianapolis. On Feb. 20, 1966, she married Robert L. Foltz and helped him on the family farm in Valley Mills. They relocated the farm to Shelbyville in 1971 where they raised their three sons, John, Jason and Dan. Bonnie’s interest included gardening, cooking and square dancing. She had many artistic talents and enjoyed painting, flower arranging, jewelry making and other crafts. For several years, she also owned the Whistle Stop in Metamora where she sold many of her crafts. She was a longtime member of the Little Blue River Baptist Church and was active in its Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Countryettes Home Ec. Club. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and sharing time with her family and friends, particularly her grandchildren, Jennah, Emily, Luke, Jack and Franklin Foltz. She is survived by her husband Bob, and sons Jason (wife Traci) and Dan (wife Jean), all of Shelbyville; daughter-in-law, Lora Foltz Howard of Arkansas; brothers, Tom Colvin of Illinois and Dan Colvin of Florida; cousins, Jim (wife Sally) Williams of Indianapolis and Mike (wife Maddy) Williams of Hope; aunt, Marie Williams of Indianapolis; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bob and Nancy (Foltz) Adams of Harbor Springs, Mich.; and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Clyde; brother, Bill; and son, John. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., with Rev. Robert Langdon officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the John R. Daniel E. Foster, 65, died Thursday afternoon at his residence.
Born Dec. 3, 1947 in Montgomery, he was the son of Virgil and Mary (Yates) Foster. He graduated from Alfordsville High School in 1965.
Mary Fay Willis, 85, of Washington, died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Manor. Born July 24, 1927, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Farris and Chrystal (Lamb) Wise.
Paisley Ann Morgan, two weeks old, of Washington, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 30, 2013, in Newburgh, she was the daughter of Ryan and Brittany (Babrick) Morgan.

Mildred “Millie” (Mahan) Beck, 87, of Washington, passed away peacefully at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday with her family by her side at Daviess Community Hospital.
Shirley J. Ausbrook passed away Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Shirley was born on Feb. 3, 1939, in Clay City, Ill., to Leo and Vida E. Murbarger.
Cathy Lynn Gould, 62 of Washington, died at 11:47 a.m. Friday at her residence. She was the daughter of Hugh O. and Phyllis (Madden) McLemore, and lived in Washington nearly all her life.
Frank Price, 77, of Washington, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Manor. Born June 29, 1935, in Loogootee, he was the son of Agatha (Spaulding) and Francis Price Sr.
Eileen Cole, 86, died at 9:57 a.m. Monday at the Loogootee Nursing Center. Born Sept. 19, 1926, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Frank and Connie (Jackman) Swickard.
