WASHINGTON — Elizabeth Nikam, 92, of Washington, died at 6:03 a.m. Monday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born Nov. 12, 1920, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Henry and Jane Winninger. She was a homemaker and a member of Fountain of Life Church. She is survived by two sons, Philmore Nikam of Spencer, and William (Jimmy) Nikam of Washington; and three daughters, Shirley Cox of Washington, Margaret Cox of Montgomery, and Linda Bennett of Lyons. Her husband, Philmore Nikam, died in 1968. One brother and three sisters are also deceased. The funeral will be at noon Wednesday at Fountain of Life Church, with Bro. Scott Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are being made through Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home.
