WASHINGTON — Helen J. England, 67, of Washington, died at 5:20 p.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born April 17, 1945, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Paula (Ham) Carrico. She had been a certified nursing assistant at Hillside Manor for 17 years. She is survived by a daughter, Paula L. (Dennis M.) Kordes of Vincennes; two granddaughters, Erin and Casey Gillingham; two grandsons, Steven Hoff and Christopher Hardy; three great-grandchildren, Kyla, Dalton and Dommick; and one sister, Sandra Oberst of Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kathryn Hoff. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
