Larry Grow

April 8, 1958 - Nov. 2, 2012

WASHINGTON — Larry Grow, 54, of Washington, passed away at 5:12 a.m. Friday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Born April 8, 1958, in Washington, he was the son of William and Helen (Fox) Grow. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed NASCAR and Cincinnati Reds baseball, and was a 49ers football fan.

He is survived by two sons, Jason Grow and Steve (Texanna) Grow, all of Washington; a stepson, Stacy Deel of North Carolina; a stepdaughter, Shannon Deel of Washington state; three grandchildren, Andrew Grow, Tiffany Grow and Makayla Grow, all of Washington; two stepgrandchildren, Jake Deel and Clayton Deel; three sisters, Jackie Neeley and Debbie Floyd, both of Washington, and Jeannie Huffines of Glendale; a brother, Mack Grow of Washington; half sisters, Pam Goble, Patricia Later and Billie Jo Allan, all of Washington; and a half brother, William Grow II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria (Emmons) Grow on Sept. 15, 2011; his father, William "Pat" Grow; and his mother, Helen Walls.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and V.F.W.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

    Born Sept. 30, 1935, in Daviess, she was the daughter of Arlan V. and Essie (Hardesty) Nolley. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1953 and retired as a bookkeeper from McDonald Chevrolet in Washington after 43 years of service.
