WASHINGTON — Lloyd Edward Lemon, 88, of Washington, passed away on Friday. He was born in Washington to the late Harry J. Lemon Sr.and Ercil C. (Lamb) Lemon. Lloyd graduated in 1942 from Washington High School. He was an Army World War II veteran, a member of Trinity Gospel Tabernacle, and was retired after 42 years from B and O Railroad. Survivors include his loving wife, Louise; two daughters, LaDonna J. Thomas of Westfield, Barbara Gayle Blowers of Washington; two sons, Mark E. Lemon of Floyds Knobs, Larry D. Lemon of Jeffersonville; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda K. Thomas; one grandson, Kelly Thomas; and two brothers, Harry Jr. and Arnum Lemon. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Gill Funeral Home, 308 E. Walnut St. Washington, IN 47501.
