WASHINGTON —
Nelson E. “Buzz” Mattingly, 71, of Washington, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday at his home.
Born Jan. 28, 1941, he was the son of Nelson and Harriet (Leonard) Mattingly.
He was an ironworker with Local 22.
Survivors include a son, Tony Louis Mattingly of Indianapolis; four daughters, Tina Lynn (Greg) Scott of Eagan, Minn., Tamara Lee (Billy) Edwards and Tracy Lane (Tony) Smith, all of Crawfordsville, and Terri Louise (Mark) Bryant of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Sue (Ron) White, Nancy Kay (Mike) Shank, and Diane Jean (Keith) Thompson; a brother, Donald J. Mattingly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas Ray Mattingly.
There will be no services nor visitation. Arrangements were made by Gill Funeral Home.
