LOOGOOTEE — William Eugene Clark, 85, died at 12 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Born June 9, 1927, in Wheatland, he was the son of Alfred and Wilma (Way) Clark. He became a member of Truelove United Methodist Church in 1962 and served as church lay leader and Sunday school superintendent. He attended schools in Wheatland, the Daviess and Thompson schools in Martin County and Loogootee High School. Bill was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was stationed at the Panama Canal Zone. He was a member of the Loogootee American Legion Post and had retired from the Jasper Desk Company after working 42 years as a desk maker. He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Crouse) Clark, whom he married June 28, 1952; one son, Bill Clark of Vincennes; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Lee Jones of Loogootee, and Beverly and Roger Lemon of Washington; two sisters, Mary Walton of Loogootee, and Marge Clark of Huntingburg; five brothers, John Clark of Loogootee, Fred Clark and Frank Clark, both of Jasper, Jack Clark of South Carolina, and Tom Clark of Florida; three grandsons, Mick Clark of Loogootee, Scott and Matthew Lemon, both of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Sutton; and two brothers, Bob and Jim Clark. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Truelove United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Daniel E. Foster, 65, died Thursday afternoon at his residence.
Born Dec. 3, 1947 in Montgomery, he was the son of Virgil and Mary (Yates) Foster. He graduated from Alfordsville High School in 1965.
Mary Fay Willis, 85, of Washington, died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Manor. Born July 24, 1927, in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Farris and Chrystal (Lamb) Wise.
Paisley Ann Morgan, two weeks old, of Washington, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 30, 2013, in Newburgh, she was the daughter of Ryan and Brittany (Babrick) Morgan.

Mildred “Millie” (Mahan) Beck, 87, of Washington, passed away peacefully at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday with her family by her side at Daviess Community Hospital.
Shirley J. Ausbrook passed away Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Shirley was born on Feb. 3, 1939, in Clay City, Ill., to Leo and Vida E. Murbarger.
Cathy Lynn Gould, 62 of Washington, died at 11:47 a.m. Friday at her residence. She was the daughter of Hugh O. and Phyllis (Madden) McLemore, and lived in Washington nearly all her life.
Frank Price, 77, of Washington, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Manor. Born June 29, 1935, in Loogootee, he was the son of Agatha (Spaulding) and Francis Price Sr.
Eileen Cole, 86, died at 9:57 a.m. Monday at the Loogootee Nursing Center. Born Sept. 19, 1926, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Frank and Connie (Jackman) Swickard.
Imogene Richardson, 88, of Washington, died at 9:32 p.m. Saturday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Sept. 21, 1924, in New Harmony, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Fisher) Jacobs.
Barton L. Webber
Barton L. Webber, 75, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday at his residence. Born Oct. 11, 1937, in Washington, he was the son of Floyd and Violet (Ross) Webber.
