ODON — Joe Lengacher Jr., 74, died at 4:01 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Born July 24, 1938, in Daviess County, he was the son of Joe and Barbara (Stoll) Lengacher. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Graber) Lengacher, whom he married Feb. 19, 1959; four daughters, Geneva (Delmar) Yoder of Loogootee, Mary Kathryn (Wilbur) Marner of Odon, Barbara (Danny) Knepp of Montgomery, and Fannie Mae (Martin) Knepp of Montgomery; two sons, Amos J. and wife Verda Lengacher and Joseph J. and wife Racheall Lengacher, all of Odon; four brothers, Leroy, Glenn, Harold and Raymond Lengacher, all of Montgomery; two sisters, Sylvia Marner and Betty Jean Marner, both of Montgomery; 27 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edwin Lengacher. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the family residence. Burial will be in North Bogard Cemetery. Visitation is until the hour of service Monday at the family residence. Arrangements are being made through Brocksmith-Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery.
