PLAINVILLE — Marilyn Diane Nichols, 66, Plainville, died at 11 p.m. Monday at the Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 5, 1943, in Washington, she was the daughter of Harland and Virginia (Sears) Osmon.
A 1961 graduate of Plainville High School, she was a homemaker who was known for her cooking, sewing and quilting accomplishments. She was a lady of many talents and operated Marilyn’s Beauty Shop in Plainville for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Nichols, whom she married Dec. 9, 1961; two daughters and a son-in-law, Gina Stoll of Plainville and Diana and Ben Harkness of Odon; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joan Osmon of Odon; three granddaughters, Audrey (Caleb) Bullock of Clarksville, Tenn., Kristen Stoll of Plainville and Chelsea Harkness of Odon; a grandson, Drew Harkness of Odon; a brother-in-law, Joe Nichols of Bicknell; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Underwood of Washington.
Her parents, Harland and Virginia Osmon; mother and father-in-law, John Robert and Norma Ruth Nichols; and a son-in-law, Bob Stoll, are deceased.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Parkview Christian Church, Plainville.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary and from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for pancreatic research.
