ORLEANS — Majel Kathleen Easterday, 89, died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County.
Born Sept. 1, 1920, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Olbert and Josie (Riester) Elliott.
A homemaker, she was a member of Syria Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Easterday Sr., whom she married Oct. 12, 1940; three sons, Phillip Easterday Jr. and Danny Easterday, both of Orleans, and Thom Easterday of Paoli; three daughters, Becky Cain of Orleans, Sheila Condra of Washington, and Joyce Hawkins of Mitchell; three brothers, Max Lewis Elliott of Ohio, Arnold Vance Elliott of Orleans, and Robert Eugene Elliott of Waynesburg, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kemple Funeral Home, 226 W. Campbell St., Paoli, with Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Syria Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
