Verda Stoll
Verda Stoll, 83, of Washington, died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Daviess Community Hospital.
Born May 23, 1926, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Mary (Knepp) and David Gingerich Sr.
She was a charter member of Providence Mennonite Church. She kept homes in Washington for individuals for several years.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Letha Stoll of Plainville, Roger and Debra Stoll of Franklin, Allen and Janet Stoll of Washington, and Jerry and Lynn Stoll of Montgomery; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, David Jr. and Martha Gingerich of Odon and Virgil Gingerich of Montgomery.
Her husband, Robert L. Stoll, died Sept. 25, 1966. One daughter, Joella Stoll; two brothers, Jake and Jonnie Gingerich; and five sisters, Mary Margaret Kemp, Esther Graber, Viola Knepp, Rachel Knepp and Lizzie Stoll, are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Providence Mennonite Church, with Bros. Shawn Otto and Melvin Paulus officiating. Burial will be in First Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Arrangements are being made through Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home.

Noah “Nick” Graber, 75, went to be with the Lord at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 31, 1935, in Daviess County, he was the son of Nicholas R. and Ida (Graber) Graber.

Helen B. Williams, 102, of Washington, went home to be with the Lord at 3:18 a.m. Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Dec. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of William and Maude (Koontz) Miles.

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Roark, 67, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Ralph W. and Wanda F. (White) Roark.

Marion R. Barber, 89, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Daviess County, he was the son of Logan W. and Lorena Pearl (Arison) Barber.

Paul William Patterson, 84, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Saturday at Parkvilla LTC in Marion. Born Oct. 26, 1926, in Daviess County, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Wilson) Patterson.
