Wilma C. McLemore
HUNTINGBURG — Wilma C. McLemore, 86, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at Hillside Manor.
Born March 2, 1923, in Washington, she was the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Combs) Clements.
A graduate of Washington High School. She served during World War II as a telegrapher in the Navy and retired from USNAD Crane. She was a member of Central Christian Church, DAV Auxiliary and Eastern Star Chapter 210.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Pam McLemore of Huntingburg; sisters, Ermel Rose and Velma Reeves, both of Washington; grandchildren, Michelle and Tommy Hansford of Athens, Tenn., and Michael McLemore of Huntingburg; and great-grandchildren, Arielle, Abigail and Allison Hansford and Blakely McLemore.
Her husband, Leroy McLemore, whom she married April 24, 1942, died Aug. 31, 2002. Her parents and an infant son are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gill Chapel, with Pastor James Payton officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Central Christian Church or the Eastern Star.

Noah “Nick” Graber, 75, went to be with the Lord at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 31, 1935, in Daviess County, he was the son of Nicholas R. and Ida (Graber) Graber.

Helen B. Williams, 102, of Washington, went home to be with the Lord at 3:18 a.m. Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Dec. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of William and Maude (Koontz) Miles.

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Roark, 67, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Ralph W. and Wanda F. (White) Roark.

Marion R. Barber, 89, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Daviess County, he was the son of Logan W. and Lorena Pearl (Arison) Barber.

Paul William Patterson, 84, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Saturday at Parkvilla LTC in Marion. Born Oct. 26, 1926, in Daviess County, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Wilson) Patterson.
