BLOOMFIELD — Sheridan Lee Priest, 77, passed away Monday at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1935, in Martin County, he was the son of Paul M. and Jessie L. (Stoner) Priest. Sheridan was retired from Crane civil service, he was a member of the Bloomfield Church of Christ and NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees). He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Surviving relatives include his wife Karlene Priest of Bloomfield; his children, Ryan (Carla) Priest of Bloomfield, Georgetta (Lance) Daters of Bloomfield, Susan (Tom) Bowling of Greenwood, Fawn (Kyle) Stoner of Greenwood and Gayle (Tony) Speyrer of Loogootee. He has 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Patricia Barley; and one grandson Michael O’Neall. Friends may call at the Bloomfield Church of Christ from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of service Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bloomfield Church of Christ with Joshua Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Plainville Cemetery in Plainville. The family wishes any donations be made to the Bloomfield Church of Christ.
