WASHINGTON — Homer E. Schnarr, 90, of Washington, died at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie Village Nursing Center. Born Nov. 24, 1921, he was the son of Fred and Cloe (Quackenbush) Schnarr. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as a farmer and carpenter. He is survived by two sons, Kent Schnarr of Washington, and Gary Schnarr of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charles, Norman and Cecil Schnarr. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel. Burial will be in Reeve Township Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
