WASHINGTON — Phillip Douglas “Moose” Miles, 51, of Washington, died Friday at his residence. Born Feb. 20, 1962, in Washington, he was the son of Phillip and Julia (Ferguson) Miles. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Julia and Rick Griffith of Washington; one sister, Debbie Miles (Mathew Grow); three brothers, Gregory (Dawn) Miles of Washington, James (Milissa) Miles of Washington, and Joseph (Anna Fitzgerald) Miles of Vincennes; and his canine friend, Dexter. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Miles, and one brother, Charles Paul Miles. Private services will be held at a later date. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Memorial donations may be given to the family c/o Ed Lee Mortuary, 101 N. Meridian St., Washington, IN 47501.
