SHOALS — Hilbert E. George, 77, passed away at 3 p.m. Saturday at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinanad. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post No. 61. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
