MONTGOMERY — Doris Jane Danti, 91, died at 2:34 p.m. Monday at Hillside Manor Nursing Home in Washington. Born July 17, 1921, in Dalton, Ill., she was the daughter of Herman and Lena (Born) Wagner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic faith. She had previously worked at the North Judson True Value Hardware store in North Judson. She was a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting afghans and she also enjoyed reading. She is survived by one daughter, Joanne and husband Devon Davis of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Michael Davis of Montgomery, and Kathleen Davis of Greenbush, Mich.; two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Genevieve Kirk; and one niece and three nephews. Her husband, Joseph Danti, whom she married in 1939, died in 1981. Her parents and three sisters, Louis Trinosky, Sister Ruth Wagner and Ruth Morrett, are also deceased. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Highland Cemetery in North Judson. There will be no visitation.
