JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. — Lorene Etienne Jones left this world Saturday on her 91st birthday. Our dear Sis was at Mass when the Lord called her home. Lorene is survived by her son, Paul (Susan); two grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers, Hugh (Darlene), Tony (Mary), and Tom (Diane); and a sister, Yvonne (Suzie) Evans. She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, her parents, Oscar and Lettia, and three brothers, Bud, Blick and Sox. Viewing will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman’s Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, Louisville, Ky., Lorene’s Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church she served faithfully for many years, St. Edward Parish, 9608 Sue Helen Drive, Jeffersontown, Ky.
