Jennifer Lawson

WASHINGTON — Jennifer Lynn Lawson, 38, of Washington, died Sunday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born July 26, 1971, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Jim and Kitty Lawson. A 1989 graduate of Washington High School, she attended Vincennes University and Indiana State University. She had worked as a pharmacist technician at several area pharmacies and also as a dental assistant for Dr. Roy Simpson. She was a past member of Christ United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Tyler English of Washington; her parents, Jim and Kitty Lawson of Washington; her grandmother, Evelyn Frick of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; and several loving aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dale and Fay Lawson and Raymond Frick. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Rev. Gordon Mann and Yvonne Evans officiating. Entombment will be at a later date. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to Daviess Community Hospital, 1314 Grand Ave., Washington, IN 47501 or to Air Evac Memorial Donations, 1749 South Highway 63, West Plains, MO 65775.
