WASHINGTON — Jennifer Lynn Lawson, 38, of Washington, died Sunday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born July 26, 1971, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Jim and Kitty Lawson. A 1989 graduate of Washington High School, she attended Vincennes University and Indiana State University. She had worked as a pharmacist technician at several area pharmacies and also as a dental assistant for Dr. Roy Simpson. She was a past member of Christ United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Tyler English of Washington; her parents, Jim and Kitty Lawson of Washington; her grandmother, Evelyn Frick of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; and several loving aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dale and Fay Lawson and Raymond Frick. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Rev. Gordon Mann and Yvonne Evans officiating. Entombment will be at a later date. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
