SHERIDAN —
Philip A. Doyle, 68, died at 5:10 a.m. Friday at the Sheridan Health Care Center.
Born Oct. 3, 1943, in Washington, he was the son of William R. and Elizabeth (Brewer) Doyle. He graduated from St. John High School in Loogootee and attended St. Louis University in St. Louis, Mo.
He is survived by two sisters, Joan Doyle of Germantown, Wis., and Cecilia Doyle Mattingly of Cicero; and one niece, Elizabeth Worcester of Cedarsburg, Wis.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William R. Doyle Jr. and Philip Jerome Doyle; one sister, Barbara Doyle Wright; and one niece, Sarah Wright.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the hour of the service Tuesday at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
