PLAINVILLE — Bonnie Lou Killion, 76, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday at her residence. Born July 28, 1936, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Emil and Eula (Dove) Kail. A 1954 graduate of Elnora High School, she worked in the North Daviess school system in maintenance for 36 years. She was a charter member of Parkview Christian Church, an auxiliary member of Plainville Fire Department, a Girl Scout leader and worked on the family farm. She is survived by her husband, Garland Killion, whom she married Aug. 28, 1954; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Thomas Petty of Plainville, Polly and Steve Fullom of Pimento, and Mary Lou Killion Staats of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Michael Petty, Matthew Petty, Justin Killion, Stephanie Deckard, Sarah Kimmich, Daniel Fullom, Wesley Staats and William Staats; great-grandchildren, Alysia Petty, Logan Petty, Allie Schultheis, Kassady Schultheis, Tylie Walton, Hunter Killion, Madeline Deckard, Alexis Deckard, Bryce Deckard, Garrett Kimmich, Benjamin Nickless, Paul Nickless and Jackson Kimmich; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Raymond Pender and Ruth and Warren Porter; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randall Killion; a grandson, Jason Fullom; and a brother, William Kail. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parkview Christian Church, with Bro. Alfred Helms officiating. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gill Chapel and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
