WHEATLAND — Harry W. “Bud” Kerns, 68, passed away at 7:34 a.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Knox County on July 16, 1944, to Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Kerns. Harry devoted his life to farming and enjoyed his grandchildren and family. Surviving are his children, Sandy (Bob) Dunham, Carla (Greg) Anthis, and Larry (Ivy) Kerns, all of Wheatland; his grandchildren, Travi Thomas, Kalee Dunham, Blake Anthis, and Logan Anthis, along with several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Robert Kerns, John Kerns, and a sister, Marjorie Worland. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bicknell Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
