MONTGOMERY — Fannie Wagler, 96, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at her residence. She was born Dec. 16, 1916, in Daviess County, the daughter of Joseph M. and Hannah (Graber) Raber. A homemaker, she was a member of the Old Order Amish. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Wagler, Eva Sue Wagler, both of Montgomery, and Ida Graber of Odon; a daughter-in-law, Esther Wagler of Montgomery; seven grandsons and one granddaughter; 46 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry Raber of Michigan; three brothers-in-law; and five sisters-in-law. Her husband, Noah L. Wagler, whom she married Dec. 9, 1937, died Oct. 20, 2008. One son, David N. Wagler, died Dec. 7, 2008. One son-in-law, Alvin Graber, died Jan. 12, 2010. One great-great-grandson; two sisters, Edith Stoll and Ida Graber; and four brothers, Amos, Jacob, David and Daniel Raber, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the Produce Building (across from Dinky’s). Burial will be in Stoll Cemetery. Visitation is today and Thursday at the Produce Building. The family requests no flowers. Arrangements are being made through Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home.
