Norma Senning

Died Feb. 2, 2013

EVANSVILLE — Norma J. (Hudson) Senning, 83, died on Saturday at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. She graduated from Lockyear College and attended the University of Evansville. Norma retired from AT and T as a market supervisor, and was on the Speaker’s Bureau for Indiana Bell while working in Indianapolis. She taught Dorothy and Dale Carnegie courses. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Norma is survived by her husband of 42 years, Friedman Senning; daughters, Carmen Cox of Orlando, Fla., and Karen Pastore of Evansville; son, Mike Market of Henderson, Ky.; grandchildren; brothers, Clinton Hudson of Indianapolis, Bernard Hudson of Evansville, and Donald Hudson of Velpen; sister, Joyce Soule of Greenwood; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burtis Clinton Hudson and Monica Catherine (Mattingly) Hudson. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1303 S. Green River Rd., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Bernard Etienne officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess Hospice Care Center, 600 Mary St., Evansville, IN 47747. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.ziemerfuneralhome.com
