WASHINGTON — Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Roark, 67, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Ralph W. and Wanda F. (White) Roark. He attended Washington schools and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Church on the Way and retired from Hoover Steel Ball in 1995. He is survived by his wife, Pam (Tewell) Roark, whom he married Oct. 24, 1964; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and A.D. Lawson II of Eminence, Ky., and Stacey and Jamie Burgess of Washington; one son, Kevin Roark of Washington; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Janet Grove, Brenda and husband Gary Bell, and Pam Purdue, all of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leroy Roark. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Church on the Way, with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens, with full military graveside rites conducted by the V.F.W and American Legion Honor Guard.
