PUBLIC NOTICE
PennTex Resources Illinois Inc., P. O. Box 318, Bridgeport, IL 62417 has submitted to the Division of Oil and Gas a request to eliminate an injection zone for an existing Class II Saltwater Disposal well being used for the injection of produced brine. This well is located in Section 17, Twp. 5N, Rng. 6W in Daviess County, Indiana.
The subject well - Ada Sears #G-5, permit #35391 - will be injecting fluid into the Aux Vases formation within the depth interval of 593 feet to 603 feet at a maximum injection pressure not to exceed 525 pounds per square inch. The maximum injection rate for this well will not exceed 435 barrels per day.
Written comments and objections concerning the modification of this permit must be submitted to the Division of Oil and Gas within 15 days from the publication date of this notice and should be mailed to:

City needs to weigh effect of pay raises on the taxpayer
We agree Washington police officers, firefighters, utility workers and all city of Washington departments have done an admirable job over the years, but asking for large wage increases to “make up” for the last few years isn’t practical.
Let’s be reasonable. -
Working together paying dividends
Friday’s big announcement on the east side of Washington was good news for Washington and Daviess County. Officials are starting to see the fruits of their labors — all the time and effort over the past several years is finally paying off.
