EVANSVILLE — The Washington Hatchets faced Evansville Memorial senior quarterback Grant Gribbins for the final time on Friday in the championship game of Sectional 40 at Enlow Field. And for Hatchet Nation, the final Gribbins sighting couldn’t have come soon enough.
Gribbins led Memorial (9-3) to its second straight sectional title with a 42-20 win over Washington (7-5).
