ELNORA - The stay in the Cougar Den was a brief one for the girls version of the Buggy
Bowl trophy on Thursday as Class A No. Barr-Reeve retained possession of the coveted trophy with a 63-23 win over North Daviess.
North Daviess (2-5) was looking for its first victory over Barr-Reeve (6-0) since the championship game of the 2007 sectional at the Cougar Den. But hopes of a Lady Cougar upset were quickly vanquished in the wake of a 27-0 first quarter explosion by the Lady Vikings.
