Unemployment payments delayed due to MLK Day

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Bank and government observance of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday means some out of work state residents will see their unemployment insurance benefits until a day later.

Benefits won’t be deposited on state debit cards on Monday. The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the weekly payments will be made instead by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
