1:14 p.m. — Several callers reported a possible scam involving someone posing as Publisher’s Clearing House telling them they have won and needed money to process the winnings.
3:12 a.m. — Chad Gregory, 1309 North St., reported someone took his electric meter. A suspect was named in the theft.

6:41 p.m. — A city firefighter found a male passed out in front of the Carnegie Public Library on W. Main Street. The male was taken to Daviess Community Hospital.

1:13 p.m. — A caller reported remnants of a meth lab near 2249E 625S. Deputies disposed of the trash lab.
2:29 p.m. — Marvin Hornaday, 5 W. Ohio St., reported someone broke into his home while he was away. Deputies responded.

7:33 p.m. — Cyla R. Swartzentruber, 17, 13498N 1100E, was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 sedan west on North Street in Elnora when she turned onto Springer Street at a high rate of speed. She lost control of the car, hitting a tree stump. No one was injured and damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
6:59 p.m. — Cassidy J. Lents, 18, Loogootee, was driving a 2003 Toyota Corrolla west on Rudolph Street in Montgomery when she ran a stop sign and ran into a 1996 Ford F-150 driven by Dylan C. Eisenhut, 17, Loogootee, who was on Third Street. A stop sign was partially obscured by a tree branch, causing the failure to yield. There were no injuries and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
5:13 p.m. — Cole L. Howell, 19, Shoals, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado north on U.S. 231 behind a 1999 Freightliner semi driven by Thomas L. Mitchell, 56, Bedford. Mitchell slowed to pass a railroad track and Howell ran into the back of the semi. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
11:23 a.m. — Ricky E. McWilliams, 58, 207 S.E. 11th St., was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 west on U.S. 50 near the SR 257 crossing when he collided with a 2004 Ford F550, driven by Michael B. Pedigo, 28, Bloomington. McWilliams claimed the stop light was green but a witness traveling behind him said the light was red. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
9:21 a.m. — Dawn R. Eshelman, 40, 672S 350E, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Astro south on CR 900E near CR 300N, when she reportedly dozed off and went into the northbound lane, colliding with a 1970 Ford F600 driven by Randall Swartzentruber, 49, Montgomery. Swartzentruber’s Ford then went into a ditch. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
ARRESTS
Todd J. Brinson, 52, Washington, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Friday on a writ of attachment. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $500,000 bond.
Steven R. Geary, 38, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday on multiple warrants for failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance, driving while suspended and leaving the scene of an accident. He was being held on $5,000 bond.
Jose Serrano, 34, Huntingburg, was arrested by state police Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
Bryce Fox, 22, no address given, was arrested by state police Friday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond.
David Martinez-Cardena, 23, Indianapolis, was arrested by state police Friday for driving while never receiving a license. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
James Pirkle, 42, Washington, was arrested by city police Saturday for battery. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
Terri Yenne, 21, Plainville, was arrested by state police Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was being held without bond.
Trevor Craft, 19, Washington, was arrested by city police Sunday for battery. He was being held on $2,000 bond.
