Thursday
9:34 a.m. — Ptl. Eric Eichmiller was stopped at Circle K by an employee who advised a customer had found a bag of drugs in the parking lot and turned it in. Eichmiller took the drugs back to the police station and destroyed them.
4:25 a.m. — David Mandabach, 1608 Memorial Ave., reported the theft of items from his residence.
Wednesday
11:49 p.m. — Rose Byers, 2136 Oak Grove Rd., requested extra patrol after seeing someone in her backyard.
10:05 p.m. — Amia Malone, 104 E. George St., advised someone stole her son’s 20-inch, black and red Mongoose bike from the front porch.
9:38 p.m. — An employee of Walmart reported a male subject pushed a mini fridge out of the store without paying. She supplied a description and license plate number and requested officers locate the man and have him return the refrigerator. The incident was under investigation.
4:36 p.m. — Mark Abel, 1411 W. Walnut St., advised that between Monday and Wednesday someone stole his daughter’s pink flowered bike off the front porch.
3:04 p.m. — A female caller reported two boys in a black, two-door car put a street sign from S.E. 11th Street in the trunk and left west on Highland Avenue. The street department was notified.
1:28 p.m. — Joe Auberry, 518 N.W. 11th St., advised his front door was kicked in. The door was damaged, but he didn’t believe anything was taken. He requested extra patrol.
12:52 p.m. — An employee of Shell Mart reported the drive-off theft of $45 in gas by a male driver with a female passenger in a gray, two-door Ford Explorer. They left westbound on E. Hefron Street.
10:40 a.m. — Andrew Myszak reported vandalism by five juveniles with two dogs at 1205 Maxwell Ave. They ripped cabinet doors off, wrote on a door and damaged a drainage ditch by sliding down it. The incident was captured on video and observed by neighbors. Myszak said he would not press charges if restitution was made. An officer talked to the father and uncle of the juveniles.

Wednesday
1:22 p.m. — A caller advised he saw what he thought was a funnel cloud come down near Monroe City. a deputy advised he saw circulation in the clouds around CR 450S and SR 57, and requested I-69 workers be advised of the storm and wind. The National Weather Service also was notified.
8:17 a.m. — A caller reported a subject sleeping under the I-69 bridge on CR 700S, trespassing in the construction zone, and needs to be removed. A deputy located the subject and took him to the bridge to collect his things. They loaded his belongings in his truck, which was going to be dragged to the road by a bulldozer so it could be towed.
5:39 a.m. — A male caller reported his home at 327 S. Horning Dr., Odon, had been broken into, and money and other items were missing. He thought his vehicle had been broken into, as well. He was unsure if anyone was in the residence, then he saw a subject running from the backyard.
ARRESTS
Mistie Ann Bush, 38, Bloomington, was arrested Wednesday by sheriff’s deputies on a warrant for violation of a court order. She was held at the Daviess County Security Center without bond.
Troy Allen Lowe, 29, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by sheriff’s deputies on a warrant for failure to return to lawful detention. He was held without bond.
James Arthur Knepp, 50, Washington, was arrested Tuesday by city police for criminal mischief, criminal trespass and public intoxication. He was held without bond.
