Mattress causes traffic hazard

Police Report

WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Tuesday

12:47 p.m. — An employee of the Daviess County Museum, 212 E. Main St., said another male was riding a moped on the sidewalk at a high rate of speed. No one was found.

Monday

11:51 p.m. — The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reported a small fire on Highland Avenue. The fire was found to have put itself out.

COUNTY REPORT

Monday

10:55 a.m. — A caller reported a mattress in the way of traffic on CR 650E. The matress was moved.

8:43 a.m. — An employee of Walsh Construction on the U.S. 50/I69 interchange reported the theft of a GPS. A report was made.
