Turkey supper at Alfordsville
The Alfordsville United Methodist Church will have its annual turkey supper from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Price is a monetary donation. There will also be a country store.
Author to speak at WHS
Author Michael Koryta will be at the Washington High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Saturday to discuss his book “So Cold the River.” Admission is free and open to the public. Use Gate 5. He will also sign books and they will be available for purchase.
Hope House giveaway
Hope House, 704 W. Van Trees St., Washington, will be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon to give free food and clothing to anyone in need. Hope House is a ministry of Church on the Way.
