WASHINGTON — Cantata at 1st Baptist

The First Baptist Church Choir will present its Easter cantata, "Rise Again," arranged by Russell Mauldin and directed by Pat Wade on Sunday morning at the 10 a.m. worship service.

All are invited to this special worship experience.

Chili supper in Edwardsport

There will be a chili supper fund raiser beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Edwardsport. Tickets are $7 for adult and $3 for children 12 and under. Proceeds go to repair the roof on the Sunday School addition.

Washington board meeting

Washington Community Schools regular board meeting will be at 7 p.m.

Thursday. Items included on the agenda: music competition; DECA conference; spring break.

Twin Oaks    holds revival

Twin Oaks Church, 1911 CR 650N, Petersburg, will hold revival services today to 24 at 7 p.m. nightly, 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Rev. and Mrs. Melvin Beecher of Corydon will be ministering.

Book Fair at DCH

Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor a Book Fair from 7 a.m. to

4 p.m. Thursday,  in Education Rooms 1, 2 and 3.

DCH offers free readings

Daviess Community Hospital offers free glucose and blood pressure screenings from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of the month in the hospital lobby.
