WASHINGTON — Carl T. McNeely, 65, of Washington, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home. Born Jan. 12, 1947, in Dale, he was the son of John and Minnie (Underhill) McNeely. He graduated from Gentryville High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed at Perdue Foods as sanitation lead person. He is survived by two daughters, Clarrisa Padgett of Washington, and Clara McNeely of Bicknell; four sons, Anthony McNeely of Washington, Mark McNeely and Mike McNeely, both of Huntingburg, and Andrew McNeely of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers, Marvin Stevens of Florida, Aurie McNeely and Russell McNeely, both of Indianapolis, David McNeely of Kentucky, and Earl Underhill of Tennyson; three sisters, Vera McNeely and Linda McNeely, both of South Carolina, and Emma Underhill of Huntingburg. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Billy McNeely and Charles Stevens. There will be no service. Arrangements are being made through Ed Lee Mortuary.
