WASHINGTON — Betty Jane Sutton, 75, of Washington, died at 9:51 a.m. Monday at Select Specialty Hospital, Evansville. Born April 14, 1937, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Clifford and Freda (Rumble) Edmonson. She had been a caregiver in private homes. She attended Washington schools and Antioch Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Elofson and Betty and husband Mark Armes, all of Washington; a son, James Jones of Washington; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Hughes; a son, Dennis Jones; sisters, Billie Sue Cummins and Nancy Lee McGlone; brothers, Frank Edmonson, Jack Edmonson and George Wilcox; a niece, Cara Hulan; and a granddaughter, Brandee Racey.
