WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Thursday

2:52 p.m. — A male caller reported vandalism at 415 E. William St. He said flower pots were dumped over and someone else’s flower pot was busted on his property.

4:28 a.m. — A dumpster fire was reported at Corner Cafe, 2 S.E. 11th St. The fire department responded and was on the scene until 4:48 a.m. At 6:30 a.m., another call came in reporting the dumpster was smoldering. The fire department was on the scene until 6:43 a.m.

4:21 a.m. — Heather Jennings reported a sign was on fire outside Shepherd Hill Apartments, Bldg. 5, at 900 S. Meridian St. Firefighters responded and were on the scene until 4:33 a.m.

1:30 a.m. — A male caller reported subjects were possibly trying to break into a vehicle parked in the alley at 810 S. Meridian St. The vehicle was moved from the alley.

Wednesday

5:00 p.m. — John Crecelius, 6 E. Nat’l Hwy., reported someone got into his Jeep console and took change while it was parked behind his house.



COUNTY REPORT

Wednesday

11:26 p.m. — A fight in progress was reported at 104 E. Race St., Odon. A male subject was reported to be armed and possibly intoxicated. He was taken into custody.

10:27 a.m. — A caller reported reckless semis driving fast on CR 550E north of North Daviess High School. One hit his dog, killing it, and didn’t stop.

6:02 a.m. — A driver reported a turkey fell off a truck and damaged her 2000 Volkswagen Jetta near McAllister’s.
