Thursday
12:18 p.m. — An employee of Fast Max found a downed utility line on Wolf Street. It was a cable line and New Wave Communications was contacted.
8 a.m. — Daviess County dispatchers relayed a 911 call from 613 S.E. 11th St. Officers and firefighters found two juvenile males trying to set boxes on fire with gasoline, and the fire got out of hand. The fire was extinguished and the males were warned not to set a fire again or they would be cited.
12:02 a.m. — An employee of the City Motel, 1115 E. Nat’l Hwy., said a room was broken into. Fishing equipment was taken.
Wednesday
11:51 p.m. — A female caller reported a fire at 1604 Vincennes Ave. City firefighters were on the scene until 1:46 a.m. More information was not available at press time.
COUNTY REPORT
Thursday
1:45 p.m. — A male caller reported a trash dump near the Daviess County Airport.
1:20 p.m. — An employee of Solar Sources mine near Montgomery reported tools were stolen. A report was made.
8:03 a.m. — A male caller said a horse was running loose near Elnora. The owners were contacted and the horse was corralled.
ARRESTS
Adam Lee Conger, 25, Washington, was arrested by city police Thursday for public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. He was released from the Daviess County Security Center on $2,500 bond.
