Teens injured in accident

Police Report

WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Monday

3:12 p.m. - An employee of Frette Energy, 504 W. Walnut St., reported the drive-off theft of $49.17 in fuel by someone in a dark green mini van

9:31 a.m. - Ami Sewell advised a male subject behind her at Walmart the previous night somehow was able to withdraw $100 from her bank account after she used her debit card for her purchase.

COUNTY REPORT

Monday

9:58 a.m. - A caller reported the trailer had become unhitched from a semi as it attempted to enter a ramp at I-69 and SR 58. It was blocking the intersection. At 11:26 a.m. the vehicle was on its way.

COUNTY ACCIDENT

Monday

10:14 p.m. - Brianna J. Long, 16, Plainville, was southbound on CR 800E, just south of SR 58, in a 2000 Pontiac registered to Nedra Long, Plainville, taking a friend home. She told officers she swerved to miss a possum in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle. The car traveled off the east side of the road and flipped upside down in a ditch.

All three occupants were out of the car when officers arrived. Long, who complained of pain to her arm, was checked at the scene and taken to the hospital by her mother. Two passengers were transported to Daviess Community Hospital by ambulance: Rebecca D. McClellan, 17, Odon, complained of back pain, and Michael Sturgeon, 14, Elnora, had neck pain.

Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.

ARRESTS

Anna Marie Borjon, 20, Washington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Monday on a warrant for petition to revoke suspended sentence for conversion. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Miranda Jo Grissom, 33, Washington, was arrested Monday by city police for failure to appear for conversion. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Lauren Elizabeth Robinson, 19, Owensboro, Ky., was arrested by city police Monday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated/refusal, possession of stolen property and possession of a Schedule III controlled substance. She was held at Daviess County Security Center without bond.

Josie Dahl Heath, 32, Owensboro, Ky., was arrested Monday by city police for possession of a Schedule III controlled substance and possession of stolen property. She also is wanted on a Florida warrant for failure to appear for assault. She was held without bond.

Shelia Danielle Bowling, 36, Washington, was arrested by city police Monday for driving while suspended/prior. She was released on $2,000 bond.

Laura Dawn Fleenor, 37, Washington, was arrested by city police Monday for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. She was held without bond.

Marlin Jeffrey Lewis, 43, Washington, was arrested Monday by city police for OVWI/refusal and intimidation. He was held without bond.

Oakley Raymond Phillips, 28, Washington, was arrested by state police Monday for OVWI and on an out-of- county warrant. He was held without bond.
