Class A No. 1 Barr-Reeve volleyball team has added two more victories to their resume.
The Vikings (30-2) defeated Tecumseh, (20-25, 25-14, 25-17, 23-25, 15-13) and Pike Central at home on Tuesday (25-8, 25-14, 25-11).
On their way to defeating the Braves, Barr-Reeve was led by Cori Cummings with 41 assists.
Tanisha Graber added 17 points and Hania Sisco pitched in 18 kills. The Vikings JV team won in two consecutive games 25-21, 25-18.
The Vikings defeated Pike Central, 25-8, 25-14, 25-11, behind 23 assists and 18 points from Jenna Knepp. Hania Sisco added 10 kills. The Vikings JV team (21-3) defeated 25-14, 25-8 with 11 points from Megan Wagler, seven assists from Kirsten Purdue and four kills from Melody Rohrer.

IU still working towards sixth banner
Monday night in Atlanta, Louisville won the school’s first National Championship since the year I was born - 1986. This accomplishment is significant to Indiana basketball fans, because the last two times the Cardinals cut down the nets (1980, 1986), the Hoosiers did it the following year. The stat, of course means nothing, other than both schools had strong programs in the 1980s.
