Alternate route for ND-Dugger game

ELNORA — School officials at Union Dugger want to alert North Daviess football fans to a railroad closing that may affect travel plans to Friday’s football sectional game.

The railroad crossing on SR 54 near Dugger is closed this week. Fans are urged to enter Dugger on SR 159 through Pleasantville.

Dugger officials suggest turning left toward Pleasantville at the top of the hill before entering the Goose Pond area.

There is a sign on the highway showing Pleasantville.

North Daviess plays Union Dugger in football at 7 p.m. Friday in the opening round game of the Class A sectional.
