WASHINGTON — Trick or Treating in the city of Washington is set for today, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Boil order from DCRWS

The Daviess County Rural Water System has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for those customers on 100E, south of CR 600S and CR 825S, including those customers east of CR 825S to end of line.

Trick or treat at firehouse

The West End fire station at 1000 W. Walnut St. will be a Halloween safe stop from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.

Smart Choice food ordering

Free Methodist Church, 1155 Troy Road, has announced the dates for ordering food from Smart Choice Food South for the month of November:

•Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon;

•Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.

You may call the church at 254-5440 for a menu. Menus are also available on the church website at www.winfmc.com.

Online ordering is available at www.smartchoicefood.com and closes at 6 p.m. Nov. 8.

Cash or food stamps are accepted for payment. Call the church or Bob Collins, host site director, at 254-8990 for more information.

Food pickup will be at 5 p.m. Nov. 15.
