ODON — Esther (Kemp) Miller went to be with Jesus at 10:49 a.m. Sunday at the age of 91. She was born June 23, 1921, to Joseph S. and Fannie (Briskey) Kemp in Mark Center, Ohio. She married Henry Miller on Jan. 1, 1942, in Daviess County. She was a member of the Zion Amish Mennonite Church. She is survived by her husband of 71 years; two sons and one daughter, Richard (Clara) Miller of Grabill, Hazel (John) Wilson of Loogootee, and Michael (Lavone) Miller of Odon; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Miller (widow of Fred Kemp) of Morocco, Ind., and Verna Huffman (widow of Freeman Kemp) of Greenwood. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers and two sisters, Simon, Fred, Wilmer and Freeman Kemp, Lydia (Menno) Lengacher and Mary (Elmer) Miller; one son-in-law, John S. Wilson; one grandson, Titus Miller; and one great-grandson, Logan Miller. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Amish Mennonite Church. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and until time of service Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are being made through Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel.
