Police Report

WASHINGTON —

 CITY REPORT

Friday

2:49 a.m. – Officers responded to an alarm at Fields Cleaners, 7 SE Fourth St., where they found the drive-thru window open. They walked through the building with the key holder when he arrived, and it appeared that entry had not been gained.

Thursday

10:31 a.m. – A female caller at 203 SE Seventh St. reported an orange mountain bike had been laying in her front yard near the road all week. She requested someone pick it up.

9:52 a.m. – The security guard at Perdue requested an officer in regard to a semi stuck in a ditch at Clark and Cosby roads. A local wrecker service had the semi and trailer out of the ditch by 10:30 a.m.

9:39 a.m. – A caller from the National Guard Armory reported a lock on their shed had been busted, but he believed entry was not made.

COUNTY REPORT

Thursday

7:21 a.m. – A caller reported his daughter ran through a fence and was in a field at 675E 925N. A field report was made and a copy was left for the homeowner whose fence was damaged.

MARTIN COUNTY ARREST

Three people were arrested Thursday in Shoals and possible charges are pending against two others after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at 833 Lynwood St. Martin County Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by Indiana State Police and Shoals Police, executed the search warrant for a garage rented by Jason Hudson.

Hudson, along with Marlin Johnson of Shoals and Robert Torres of French Lick, were arrested and charged with dealing in methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Hudson also is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, and Johnson and Torres have an additional charge of visiting a common nuisance.

They were transported to the Martin County Security Center, where all three are being held without bond.

Two unnamed females were located on the property, as well, and possible charges are pending against them.
