LOOGOOTEE — John D. Hovis, 38, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at his residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lee Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Loogootee. Visitation is from noon until the hour of service at the funeral home. Preferred memorials may be made to the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
