BRIDGEPORT, Ill. — Tara Nichole “TNT” Tussey, 24, passed away Sunday at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born July 17, 1988, in Olney, Ill., the daughter of Brian K. and Beverly “Boo” J. (Lynch) Tussey. Tara was a 2006 graduate of Red Hill High School. She attended Wabash Valley College and graduated from Olney Central College with a degree in medical transcription. She was a member of the Christian Church in St. Francisville, Ill., and worked as a secretary for Tussey Oil Production. She was a homecoming queen in 2005 and was fourth runner-up in the state homecoming queen pageant. She was an avid lover of animals. She is survived by her parents, Brian and Boo Tussey of rural Bridgeport; two brothers, Larry D. Pedigo and Tyler G.K. Tussey, both of rural Bridgeport; paternal grandparents Gary K. and Barbara L. Tussey of St. Francisville, Ill.; maternal grandfather Kenneth R. Lynch of Olney, Ill.; and one niece Carin Michelle Pedigo of Bridgeport. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred LaVerne Lynch. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, 303 Buchanan Drive, Lawrenceville, Ill. Burial will be in Lawrenceville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Emmons-Macey and Steffey Funeral Home, 1303 12th St., Lawrence, IL.
