WASHINGTON —

CITY REPORT

Thursday

4:47 a.m. — Kenneth Ramsey Jr., 11 W. VanTrees St., reported someone slashed the rear passenger tire of his 1998 GMC 4x4 while it was parked behind the house. He said the same thing happened to another tire recently, and he has no suspects.

Wednesday

9:46 p.m. — A female caller advised there might be a fire at 802 W. Walnut St. WFD responded, and firefighters learned there had been a grease fire in a downstairs apartment earlier, but it was out.

7:21 p.m. — Stewart Campbell, owner of Certified Autos at E. Nat’l Hwy. and SR 57, advised the back window glass on his vehicle was busted out when he left the vehicle parked at the business and went to eat. Extra patrol was requested.

COUNTY REPORT

Wednesday

9:05 p.m. – Odon Deputy Marshal Scott Noble advised a male subject showed up at a property exchange on Main Street and threatened one of the parties with a Taser. The Taser was confiscated, and its owner will be long-formed.

5:04 p.m. – A caller from 1717 S. SR 57, Ste. A, reported the theft of a black Cruz T410 Velocity Micro Tablet with a silver face from a store display. An offense report was made.

ARREST

Frank Sloan, 46,  Washington, was arrested Wednesday by sheriff’s deputies on a warrant for petition to revoke suspended sentence for railroad mischief and petition to revoke suspended sentence for domestic battery.

He was released from Daviess County Security Center on $5,000 bond.
